Brow Lamination

Updated: Mar 22, 2021

K-Beauty did it again! Introducing the hot new service for your eyebrows: Brow Lamination.

Brow Lamination takes your unruly or thinning brow hair and smooths it out while also lifting the hair in a more vertical direction. The end result is super smooth brows that look like a perfect brow gel application has been applied. Brow lamination is ideal for clients who have thick, messy hairs that they would like to soften, and thin hairs can be spread out to look fuller and perfectly shaped.

No matter what your brow concern is — gaps, thinning, overplucking, unruliness — brow lamination is an amazing solution and such a great add-on for microblading to achieve a low maintenance and gorgeous result.

Brow Lamination can give clients the brows they want in an under one hour appointment. It hides small gaps and gives the illusion of major hair growth. Many have lost a lot of their brow hair, either through the natural aging process, illness, or simply over waxing. Brow Lamination is a noninvasive, temporary, but impactful way to achieve beautiful brows in an affordable way.

What is the procedure like?

Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows, as it gives them a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls like in a hair perm, a setting lotion helps brow hair stay brushed up and lifted upward for about 3 - 4 weeks - sometimes longer! Some clients enjoy waking up with bolder, fuller brows in beautiful shape for up to two months.

Are there any downsides to brow lamination?

Just as over processing the hair on your scalp with chemicals and bleach can cause breakage, dryness, and even loss of hair, the same holds true for eyebrow hairs. Make sure to find someone that’s professionally trained and experienced - knowing the fundamentals of hair growth is very important. As long as professionals handle it correctly, there is no downside or down time. To combat any potential for breakage/dryness, nourish your brow hairs with brow products such as natural serums to keep them healthy.
