We are happy to announce Groom and Groomsmen's services are now available. Groomsmen are able to get ready easily and efficiently on the big day without help from the wedding party!

Stella Kim Artistry's professional and licensed "groomsmen team members" will travel to your hotel room to provide any hair and makeup services required, just like for the bride and bridesmaids. Special promotional rates apply when booked together with bridal parties.

  • Only professional high-end products are used, long wearing and waterproof makeup where needed.

  • The brands that I use for skin-care are:
    Origin's, Kiehl's, Shiseido, Bobbi Brown, Giorgio Armani, Cle De Peau, Darphin, La Mer, Estee Lauder, Dior, Chanel, YSL, SK II, Aerin, Qiora, AVEDA, DR. Jart

  • The brands that I use for colors are:
    Anastasia, Bite, Clio, Han Skin, Dr. Jart, Shiseido, Bobbi Brown, Makeup Forever, MAC, Stila, Tarte, Tom Ford, Nars, Benefit, Estee Lauder, Kat Von D, Burberry, Sugarpill, NYX, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Sephora, Too Faced, HD Graftobian, Kryolan, Ben Nye, Temptu Pro-Airbrush and plus many more.
    *Mineral Makeups are available upon request.

  • Eyelashes are from MAC, Makeup Forever, Lilly Lashes, House of lashes, Ardell, Red Cherry, Darkness(Korean Brand), as well as South Korea direct wholesale lash dealers

  • Hair Products/Tools mainly used are Babyliss, Hot tools, T3, Sebastian, Gastsby, John Frieda, Big Sexy hair, and AVEDA.

Policy
  • A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to reserve a date.

  • A preview session does not ensure a booking.

  • Availability changes instantaneously, early booking is highly recommended

  • Accommodations are required if travel exceeds 60 miles and start time is prior to 8:00am

  • Final service count must be submitted 30 days prior to event date to ensure proper staffing

  • For Destination Weddings - airfare, accommodations, transportation and travel rates will apply. Destination package upon request.

  • Preview runs are highly recommended so that we can get to know one another and establish your final look before the big day. 

  • Once booked, we will put together a schedule of your services finishing you up at the ‘ready’ time noted on the contract. We will also inform you on what we recommend for the clients for ease of the event day.

  • We typically have a 6 service minimum for bookings. Hair & Makeup is considered 2 services. If you are purchasing any of our Diamond Packages you do not need to meet a minimum for booking. If you are having a small wedding please let us know and we can see if we can still work you in!

  • We do recommend bringing a lip gloss, or a favorite lipstick for touch-ups.

  • Please let us know if you have any allergies to products. 

  • Rates subject to change without notice & are non-negotiable.

  • All Deposit, Services are final. None-refundable, None-transferable.

  • Bride must sign the contract for more details. 

  • Destination package available upon request.

  • Diamond packages available upon request.

  • Due to Covid-19 no guest is allowed during service time. Please make sure to follow your time-line schedule. 

  • We only provide touch-up kit for bride only upon request. We do recommend bringing a lip gloss, or a favorite lipstick for touch-ups just incase.

  • Deposit/Service is Final, non-transferable.

PREVIEW Session
  • All trial sessions are held in-studio.

  • Trial session location address: Stellakim Artistry San Francisco or Daly City depending on availability.

  • Trial sessions are held between weekdays Monday-Thursday.

  • The trial session doesn’t guarantee your wedding date, so please book separately.

  • It is highly recommended to bring at least 2 images but not more than 3 for each hair and makeup look.

  • Trial sessions are limited to 1 - 1.5 look for hair and makeup.

  • Please make sure to arrive with a clean, moisturized face, (please no previous night’s mascara, etc.) for best hair results hair should be product and washed with as little conditioner as possible the night before.

  • All directions will be taken from the bride only and not other parties (i.e. mothers, bridesmaids, etc.)

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment(s) it may be canceled or a late fee of $15 will be charged for every 15 minutes that have elapsed. The late fee will be collected once the service has been rendered.

  • Payment is collected once service has been rendered.

  • 1 on 1 appointments only. Due to covid-19 no guests are allowed. 

  • Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, Pay-pal and Zelle only.

  • For all credit card transactions through the website, a transaction 10% will apply.

  • For PayPal payments, please process as “personal transaction”.

  • Trial sessions are non-refundable, non-transferable, all sales & services are final. 

 
cOVID-19 RESCHEDULING 

You've been planning your wedding for months, maybe years now...you've gone through the time-consuming effort of finding the perfect vendors, venue, outfit, and most importantly, partner, for your wedding. And now, you're being forced between the decision of rescheduling or canceling altogether due to a world pandemic.

A sentence that I never imagined I would be writing.

If you're reading this that means that I'm the lucky human you've chosen and trusted to document one of the most precious and memorable days of your life. I want to take this time to reiterate how much I value the connection and relationship that we have already established and how vital sustaining that healthy relationship will become the day of your wedding. That being said, due to how stressful of a time this is for everyone, I want to do everything within my power to maintain transparency and an open channel of vulnerability with each of my couples. I want you to feel safe sharing your needs with me moving forward. I want you to know that while I am your photographer, I am also someone who cares deeply about you, my couples, who inspire and support me as I chase this dream of documenting the power of love.

I realize that some of you are in the service industry and have been forced to file for unemployment, some of you have lost your jobs and your healthcare that follows, some of you have mortgages, parents you take care of, medicine that is becoming increasingly harder to afford, and family members that live abroad.

 

Every single one of you has a multitude of stressors that are involved not just with the fears that come with a pandemic, but also the fears that arise with planning a wedding and having invested so much money into a day that you have awaited with excitement. This is why I wanted to take a moment and put together a page that not only shares my Covid-19 rescheduling policy but also provides resources that will hopefully make this stressful time, less stressful.

 

To be fair to couples whose wedding is being directly affected by Covid-19 the above Covid-19 rescheduling policy is only applicable to couples who are being immediately forced to reschedule their wedding due to government and state mandates. Couples who are not within a 4-8 week window of the currently estimated end of the government-mandated Shelter in Place will be subject to the rescheduling clause outlined in their contract.

Covid-19 Rescheduling Policies

1. Clients may reschedule to any date within 2020 in which I am available. Your retainer will be applied to your new date and all rescheduling fees will be waived. A rescheduling contract will be required to secure your new date.

2. Clients may reschedule to a peak Saturday in 2021 in which I am available for. To book a peak Saturday in 2021 the remaining balance will be due and 50% of my 2021 booking rate [per time contracted] will be applied as a change fee. The change fee is waived for non-peak dates: Friday or Sunday.

3. Clients who choose to cancel their wedding altogether are subject to the terms agreed upon in our contract.

Now that my rescheduling policies have been shared I’m sure you have questions - many of which that I would probably have if I were an individual being affected by this virus. I believe open communication is important, and as a small business in a global pandemic, I have no option but to be vulnerable with you, the wonderful humans who have made the choice to support my small business. Some of you are in the event and service industry and some of you are even in the wedding industry and understand first hand how delicate our booking seasons are.
